Acne Treatment with Ice

Take an ice cube and rub it on your skin and acne affected area. Massage your skin with the ice cube for 5 to 10 minutes. Massaging skin with ice improves blood circulation. If you feel the touch of ice very cold, wrap the ice cube in a thin and clean cotton cloth and then massage. The cold ice cubes help in closing up large open skin pores and prevents infection. Honey has natural antibacterial and moisturizing properties. Applying honey on the pimples show an immediate effect in reducing inflammation. Dip a cotton ball in honey and apply it on the pimples. Keep a pimple soaked in honey for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Honey works as a cleanser and cleans the skin pores deeply. Honey not only kills the acne causing bacteria but also keeps the skin moisturized and prevent it from scarring. Acne Treatment with Lemon

The juice of lemon has 2 main ingredients Vitamin C and Citric acid. When applied to the skin, lemon juice works as an astringent and wipes out the excess oil and bacteria. Squeeze the lemon juice into a clean bowl and dab a cotton ball in it. Rub the soaked cotton ball on the problem area of skin. Let the lemon juice sit on skin for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.

Acne Treatment with Steaming

Treating the skin with steam is one of the best ways to remove dirt and debris from it. Steaming opens up the skin pores and makes it easy for dirt and sebum to come out skin. Steaming loosens the pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads and pops them out. Take a medium-large bowl and pour boiling hot water in it. Now move your face close to the bowl so the steam can come on the skin. Take steam for 5-8 minutes then wash your face with lukewarm water and apply an oil free moisturizer.
